An oven that looks and cooks like new, without the hours of scrubbing.
Baked-on grease, burnt-on grime and smoked-up glass don't shift with a sponge and an evening. We strip your oven down, deep clean every part by hand, and put it back together working and looking the way it should.
Why an oven needs its own clean
An oven is one of the few appliances that gets dirtier the more it's used, and one of the hardest to clean properly yourself. The mess isn't just on the surface — it's baked onto racks, door glass, seals and the roof of the cavity, often for months at a time. Oven cleaner sprays and a scouring pad only ever get through the top layer.
We take the racks, trays, and where possible the door, out and soak them separately while we work on the cavity by hand with professional-grade degreasers safe for food contact surfaces. It's slower and messier than a quick wipe-round, which is exactly why most people book it in rather than do it themselves.
What's included
A standard oven clean covers:
- Oven interior degreased and scrubbed by hand
- Racks and trays removed and soaked
- Door glass cleaned, including between the panes where accessible
- Door seals and hinges cleaned
- Extractor fan and filter degreased, if included
- Hob top, knobs and surrounding splashback cleaned
- Grill pan and racks cleaned
- All parts dried and refitted
- Dust and grease residue wiped from surrounding units
- Before-and-after photos on request
Single or double, gas or electric
We clean single and double built-in ovens, range cookers and freestanding cookers, gas or electric. A double oven or a large range takes longer than a single, so we'll always confirm the size and type before quoting rather than guessing on the phone.
Oven cleaning is often booked alongside a wider deep clean or as part of an end of tenancy clean, but it works just as well as a standalone visit — plenty of people book us for the oven alone once or twice a year and handle the rest themselves.

Questions people ask us
How long does an oven clean take?
A single oven usually takes 45–90 minutes. A double oven, range cooker, or one that hasn't been cleaned in a long time can take longer — we'll give you a realistic estimate when you book.
Do I need to do anything before you arrive?
No. If the oven is switched off and cool, that's all we need. Please just let us know if any parts are already missing or damaged.
Is it safe for self-cleaning ovens?
Yes, though we'll use a gentler approach on catalytic or pyrolytic linings to avoid damaging the coating. Let us know when you book if your oven has one.
Can you do the extractor fan and hob too?
Yes — hob and splashback cleaning is included as standard, and we can add the extractor fan and filter for an extra charge.
How much does it cost?
A single oven starts at £35, with double ovens and range cookers priced individually depending on size. We confirm the exact price in writing before we start.
